Product description
SyncSol Aluminium Fiber Glass Tape SAGT 1803 is 18-micron aluminum foil fused with fibreglass cloth (90 gsm/8×8 mesh/cm) backing and coated with solvent acrylic adhesive which makes it a flame retardant tape with good abrasive resistance and high tensile strength. It also has an excellent low moisture
vapor transmission.
Main applications
- Aluminum & Fibreglass cloth backing gives excellent reflective properties for both heat & light
- High tensile strength.
- Ideal vapour barrier due to low moisture vapour transmission rate.
- Suitable for duct sealing & joining of HVAC (Heat, Ventilation & AC) systems.
- Used in duct board joint & seams; joining & sealing industrial pipes & duct insulation.
- Excellent for roofing applications like flashing, joints & insulation.
How to apply SyncSol SAGT 1803
During the application of SyncSol SAGT 1803 , please ensure the surface is clean, dry and dust free. Ensure to apply even and firm pressure for better adhesion results.
Shelf Life & Storage
SyncSol SAGT 1803 should be stored in cool and dry place and prolonged exposure to the direct sunlight should be avoided. To obtain best performance, the product should be used within 12 months from the date of manufacture.
